The world was not ready for sisters Elsa and Anna’s redefining of what it meant to be a Disney princess when Disney released Frozen.
Naturally, they were unprepared for the popular song “Let It Go” from the movie Frozen by Idina Menzel. The song’s covers proliferated almost everywhere, and it began to be associated with any time someone was having difficulty performing something.
The song was a major hit for a long time. The song, however, was quite challenging to perform. Even the most seasoned singers find it challenging to hit some of the notes Menzel can.
Jodie Bird, a 16-year-old singer, previously obtained an X from Simon based on “British Acquired Talent.” However, the other judges permitted him to carry on performing, and Jodi advanced to the next stage.
In an effort to scare everyone, Jody made the choice to sing the well-known Disney song a second time. Many performers have tried and failed to capture the spirit of the song.Eventually, Jodi gave a shortened performance of “Let Go,” to roaring cheers and ovation from the crowd. The judges gave him their highest praise for making it to the final round and lauded his unique note-striking abilities.
Simon, too, changed his tune totally. He stated that he handed it to X for the first time since he felt he needed trust and support. He told Jody that the woman should surely thank him for pressing that button since it allowed him to go deeper and sing better. He was able to convey his pride in his boldness and congratulated him for advancing to the third level. Jodi was given an unbelievable and one-of-a-kind opportunity to prove Simon Cowell wrong.
